If The Door Is Open…
After years of marriage, Wes and Abby are still very much in love, still very passionate toward each other. Although discreet, they didn’t concern themselves with hiding their romantic and erotic escapades from their teenage son Shawn, figuring that, like most teenagers, he would have little or no interest whatsoever in the sexual dalliances of his parents.
They were wrong.
Discovering that their son occasionally spied on their intimate activities through their partially opened bedroom door, they go beyond just a proper scolding and a promise that he would never do it again. They ask him why. Shawn’s answer rocks their assumptions of what they thought were their son’s views on sex, intimacy, and love. It also shatters their perceptions on boundaries, and blurs the appropriate limits within their familial relationship.
When Wes and Abby find themselves actually discussing the option of letting their son openly watch their erotic interactions, the door to their bedroom is not the only door they end up opening.

This is a short read but the author seems to understand that the action needs to ratchet up slowly without the whole enchilada being thrust at the reader at once. It’s pretty well written and within the realm of possibility. I’d like to see a bit more tension (will they or won’t they, how far will it go?) but this is a good read. Will check out other stories by the author.
